Kari Mashos was an opera singer and founder of an opera company before devoting herself full-time to Christian Science practice and teaching. Her study of Christian Science helped her raise a family safely and effectively and she now writes and speaks internationally on the subject.

Texas Regional Youth Conference 2012

The primary audience is young adults, from high school age through 35. We want to encourage and inspire young adults to feel the love of our Father-Mother God. And feeling that love, to learn how Christian Science blesses our lives, relationships, careers, and enables us to make a difference in the world. Whether our understanding is mustard seed sized or a fully rooted tree, each participant will learn how to grow and progress.

The evening session adds a special secondary audience, “youth supporters” over 35. Featuring a talk on supporting youth, it also includes dinner and a concert. Adults who love and are engaging with youth may register to join the primary youth audience during this evening session. Adult registrants could include camp and/or professional counselors, school teachers (Sunday school and school), mentors, youth workers, Scout leaders, parents and grandparents, etc. Youth supporters can bring healing ideas from the conference to our families, churches, schools, and camps to “make a difference.”

This is not a day of regular lectures. Underlying these special conference activities is the knowledge that long time church members already know the value of living Christian Science. This day is an opportunity to support and engage youth.
